The Synod of Dordrecht Poster is published by Reformation Art, which is owned and operated by Andrew Moody, and is located in Amarillo, Texas.
This is our first poster, and we chose the Synod of Dordrecht because of its strategic importance in the Reformed tradition. It was at this synod in 1618-1619 where the Dutch Reformed Church issued its response to Jacob Arminius and his followers, the Remonstrants. A comon summary of this response has since been given the nick-name "The Five Points of Calvinism." The Canons of Dordt continue to be one of the three forms of unity used by Dutch Reformed Churches today.
